With Shard back in the park and the new park ground backgrounds completed, along with finalizing the current banner, things are being to get back to a normal pace. Although I'm considering kicking Bluefire because the intro's all he's done. No trailer or character sprites. I'll think about it for a while.

Go to the latest Authortastic 2.0 news post for why Jeshi-kun decided to quit Smack Jeeves. Anyways, it leaves two slots open on the TPoA field. I am currently clearing Jeshi's stuff out of the system. Current authors are free to discuss just how Jeshi left, since I don't want to come up with something.

I've decided that I will choose a new author from the applicants on November 31, 2007. That's right, all those wishing to apply must submit an application within the next 30/31 days (it's evening right now where I am) if they want a shot. Remember, I want applicants who show competence in both making good-looking sprite comics and in keeping characters in-character as much as possible. Since you're replacing Shard, I expect a high level of quality.

Hey!! I updated the sprites of me and my trailer. You might want to get them.

RED ALERT! All morning Smack Jeeves has been scrambled! I have no idea what might have caused this, but it might be due to the server overheating. How the hell would I know?! I don't work for the site!

However, as a result of this malfunction, which the admins seem to overlook, several, if not all, of the comics have disappeared! I'm sure as soon as the problem is fixed the comics will return. Even if they don't, then it's a good thing I saved copies of all the comics so far.

Hurry up, you SJ technical guys...
