Dubs and Subs I watch both, just to compare with one another. But as far as anime goes there ends up being nothing better then it's graphic novle form. Since it goes into more depth that way and you find out a little more from it. *shrugs* but that's just one oppinion of many.

Eh... I don't watch anime. Except for Bobobo.

Oh my goodness, is Red the Fox ACTUALLY trying to start a fight?

Well, sometimes dubs can be good, but most of the time it just sounds odd and cheesy.

Also thats a BAD thing!

by the way Red if your TRYING to start a flame-war then I won't respond.

with subs you can get high quality translation and quality and if its a fansub then you know that there are NO EDITS, the translation is fine and you get Karaoke, KARAOKE! :D

with most dubs the voices are not very good they Edit the script and video and audio and become overpriced.

some dubs are decent but I can say the only time a dub was better then a sub was fruits basket's dub because the voices sounded the same as the Japanese voices and they followed the script word for word.

AND it included a english translation of the theme song that was also word for word which was of course optional.

The Haruhi dub is like the Fruits basket dub too in the sense that its the same as the Japanese one word for word but the voice's are off and you can't hear some of the voice's, plus the episodes were put in chronologic order rather then TV airing order meaning that by the 4th episode you've reached the exciting conclusion, meaning they had to change the script for the next episode previews since they used to always be like "THATS NOT THE NEXT EPISODE!!" and the next episode previews became "Please watch the next episode :D"

in truth though, anything becomes better with subtitles,

even if its your native language subtitles make it easier to understand it and you might catch something you missed without them, PLUS KARAOKE :D

I watch the naruto dub even though I can get subs, its because the changes really are minimal and its still watchable.

I also watch the bobobo dub because no subs of it exist.

I like to have subtitles on whenever we watch a DVD just so I can tell what they're saying when HG is bored and being roudy in the same room.

I don't really watch anime dubs anymore unless it's Viva Pinata when I can catch it. I don't even really watch Yu-Gi-Oh! anymore... yet. Still have to see the first half of season 3 and I haven't seen any subs anywhere except for the one time we got that DVD off Netflix. The anime I watch the most is Hoshi no Kaabii, to which I have regular access to the subs.

*can't think of title* Jeshi-kun said: by the way Red if your TRYING to start a flame-war then I won't respond.
Though I dislike Jeshi much, I do have to agree with him. Anyone who wants to start a Flame War is just a noob with no life.

the Viva Pinata show is American made, its not a dub of anything

"the Viva Pinata show is American made, its not a dub of anything"

It was based off a video game, so I thought it was a natural assumption.

I heard that Rare was going to market actual Viva Pinata pinatas. I hope they're in the actual shape of the pinatas; then I can buy them and make my own garden in the backyard. I'd love a Pretztail or other types of cute pinatas (like the one Les is in the anime, can't be bothered to type out its long name) to add to it.
